Last week 38 people participated in the Summer School in Ultrasound and Microwaves for Chemical Processing. They were introduced into the world of microwaves, ultrasound, the use of ultrasound for separation processes, synthesis and the use of microwaves in inorganic and organic chemistry. Apart from scientific knowledge, they also learned why we should use the defrost function on your microwave to defrost food and why not to drill holes in your kitchen microwave.
